Barry Sloane Talks Charlotte Riley and ‘DCI Banks’

Ex-Hollyoaks actor Barry Sloane who was cast in DCI Banks with Charlotte recently gave a interview with digital spy and had a short mention about Charlotte. Read below

“I had a great time filming and was really happy to be part of this drama, especially having read several of Peter’s books – including Aftermath – and having the opportunity to work with Stephen Tompkinson, who is an actor I have always enjoyed watching.

“Also, I loved working with Charlotte Riley, who was in The Take last year, which is one of the best things I’ve watched recently.”

The Priory Stills and Promos

Production stills and a few promotional photos from Charlotte’s play, The Priory, have been added to the gallery. Two pictures of Charlotte attending a recent event with Tom Hardy have also been added, thanks to Danielle for all of those! Also just a heads up that Charlotte can be seen in tonight’s episode of Foyles War! It airs on ITV at 8pm so don’t miss that!

New Projects & New Pictures

On March 10th Charlotte attended the RTS Programme Awards, finally some new pictures! A big thank you to Samantha for those. I’ve also found some news about some more upcoming projects for Charlotte! According to the Mirror, Charlotte has upcoming parts in Foyle’s War and Aftermath.

Aftermath begins with cops uncovering horrific scenes of slaughter in a terraced house. The shocking story of Lucy – whose storyline bears chilling echoes of a real-life British monster – then starts to unfold. In the meantime, Charlotte can be seen playing a single mum who’s in love with a black GI in the second episode of drama Foyle’s War, on ITV1 on April 18.

Spanish Flu Screen Captures

Screen captures from Charlotte’s role in Spanish Flu: The Forgotten Fallen have been added to the gallery. Charlotte’s role was rather small but she had some heartbreaking scenes. I really can’t wait too see her in more. Screen caps of Charlotte’s appearance in Inspector George Gently are also on their way!

New Play – The Priory

The London Theatre Guide has announced that Charlotte has been cast in a new play called The Priory! Jessica Hynes (aka Jessica Stevenson), Rachael Stirling and Alastair Mackenzie will be starring along side Charlotte and the play will be directed by Jeremy Herrin. Below is a quick synopsis. Kate is delighted when she finds a country retreat that ticks all the boxes. Gathering together a select group of her closest friends to celebrate New Year’s Eve, she is keen to start 2010 afresh.
